With seating for up to 160 people, a dance floor with a stage area and a large bar we can offer a venue that can accommodate large parties, Weddings, Christenings, baby showers, birthday parties, corporate events, presentations, pantomimes and even a Male voice choir ,to which the room provides perfect acoustics for.
Sporting Events in the BDR
The Black Diamond Room plays host to an exciting range of sporting events - from lively dart nights to unforgettable evenings with cricket, football, and rugby legends. Over the years, we’ve been privileged to welcome some incredible guests, including Zin Zan Brooke, Andy Powell, and Dean Saunders.
Warm Spaces
Warm spaces wants everyone to access a warm and welcoming space in their local community, to connect with others, make new friends, and feel part of your community.
It’s your open invitation to come in, keep warm, connect with others, and make new friends.
Warm spaces are:
Heated and offer refreshments such as tea/coffee and a meal. Come in and feel the warmth.
Welcoming
Inclusive spaces where everyone can expect a warm welcome from the community and volunteers.
Free! It's a great place to connect with your community and make new friends.
Safe! Warm Spaces is a safe place to be. They can also signpost you to other local services that can support you.
Warm Spaces is funded by the Community council via Pembrokeshire Community Hub.
Art Club
Art Club
Hook & District Art Club is an amateur club where people are welcome to join who are interested in painting and drawing in any medium.
They are a group of 24 amateur artists, from Hook and the surrounding villages, who meet every Tuesday between 2pm and 4pm at Hook Sports and Social Club, during term times to paint or draw. Activities are set each week or you can work on your own projects.
If you are interested in joining them, please feel free to pop in and have a look at what's going on; you can have two free sessions before you make the decision to join.
